About PDF Pattern for Coffee Mug Rug
PDF Pattern for Coffee Mug Rug is our applique templates pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Only 37 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Sher's Pattern Shop is the name on the listing.
A blanket is the one project where the stated finished size matters most, so we check it against the bed before casting on anything. If you want one use for it, take beverage mug rug: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether applique templates was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this pattern
- Download the PDF from Creative Fabrica and read it through once before you buy yarn — gauge, hook size and total yardage are all on the first page.
- Crochet the gauge swatch. A blanket off by half a stitch per inch finishes a hand's width narrower than the photo.
- Check whether the pattern is written, charted or both: charts are faster once you read them and useless if you do not.
- Buy all the yarn in one go from the same dye lot — a blanket is big enough for a lot change to show as a stripe.
